Screenwriting Manifesto Live II

Screenwriting Manifesto Live II

Please join me for the next in a series of regular meet-ups I call Screenwriting Manifesto Live.

Every month or two I venture out to local cafes, coffee shops, delis, bistros, opium dens and any other sort of place that features an open, relaxed atmosphere, free Wi-Fi, and some form of nourishment.

My hope is that you — be you old friend or blog lurker will drop in and say hello for at least as long as it takes to down your coffee. No need to RSVP — though you are welcome to leave a comment announcing your intent. Come and go anytime.

Orange County screenwriters — this is our chance to connect locally. While I considered bouncing this event back and forth from LA to OC, I think OC writers get stuck with the long commute far too often. I leave the LA version of this to other intrepid bloggers (WriterDad, I’m looking in your direction!).

  • What: Screenwriting Manifesto Live, an informal gathering of screenwriters
  • Where: Panera Bread, 23592 Rockfield Boulevard, Lake Forest, CA
  • Who: All are invited. It’s a public place and a free country.
  • When: Saturday, October 11th, 2008, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Come and go any time.

Hi: I’m living in Mission Viejo and would welcome any help re: a screenplay writers critique group in so. OC. How often do you meet and when would be your next get together in Lake Forest? Are you accepting new memebers? What are the qualifiers to join?

    Thanks,
    Mel
