Writer’s Guild Foundation: Writing for Television 2009 — What You Need to Know

I don’t know if this is worth the >$100 ticket. From the Web site:

“Television is, famously, a writer’s medium. And some of the best writers working today are active in television. So what do you need to know to succeed in the business today? Multiple panels of prominent television writers will discuss this and many other themes in this intensive one-day seminar.

Breakout groups will allow participants to discuss elements of television writing in small groups with an experienced writer or screenwriting professor as leader. This is a unique opportunity to learn from the best. A must for beginning and mid-level writers alike.”
