It's so funny how my childhood has rushed back to me with the arrival of my son (17 months tomorrow.) All that keeps appearing to me as just what that quote is saying. The unconscious need to explore and discover. Having a girl would have been just as beautiful but the fact that I have a son makes me see myself and see what he will be looking for in a world of endless possibilities.
