Every month or two I venture out to local cafes, coffee shops, delis, bistros, opium dens and any other sort of place that features an open, relaxed atmosphere, free Wi-Fi, and some form of nourishment.

My hope is that you — be you old friend or blog lurker – will drop in and say hello for at least as long as it takes to down your coffee. No need to RSVP — though you are welcome to leave a comment announcing your intent. Come and go anytime.

Orange County screenwriters — this is our chance to connect locally. While I considered bouncing this event back and forth from LA to OC, I think OC writers get stuck with the long commute far too often. I leave the LA version of this to other intrepid bloggers (WriterDad, I’m looking in your direction!).

This is not a formal networking event, a seminar, or a pitch to sell timeshares in Mexico. It’s just a guy with a screenwriting blog who’s hanging out at a local coffee joint and inviting anyone with shared interests^[1] to come by. It’s simple, really.
